Basildon Cardio-thoracic Centre

Some 12,000 m2 of floor coverings spread over 4 levels were installed in seven months at the new annexe to basildon hospital. The project included surface D.P.M and smoothing compound to all areas and the installation of vinyl and safety vinyl, including site formed cove throughout.

The offices (over 700m2) were fitted with impervious backed carpet complete with sealed seams.

The operating theatres were fitted with static conductive vinyl on an earthed system.

There were 4 staircases with internal and external stringers with uPVC nosings to the emergency stairs and aluminium to
the main feature stairs.

HBG Construction, a member of the Main Contractors Group (MCG) say they are loooking forward to working with Vagg Flooring again soon.
